The feast of colours emerging by nature itself which characterizes the paintings of Vasso Triga could justify fully expressions like: the orgasmic nature; nature in a metaphysical excitement; nature tracing cosmogony.

In fact, the great sensitivity with which the talented artist comprehends and does not simply observe the surrounding nature transcends her optical stimuli into poetry. A poetry expressed by the pulse of the trace and the rhythm of the explosive and eloquent colours. Explosive colours, indeed which prevailing like the of life itself, do render us familiar - in a very evocative way - with the mystery of cosmogony.

The brilliance of colours in the paintings of Triga multiplying in an infinite way the dynamics of each tone, identifies itself not only with the aura of every colour separately but, also with the dynamics of the coexistent tones. This, according to countless nuances orchestrating a certain atmosphere. Each painting here by composing a feast of colours and nuances constitutes one harmonious entity in which is orchestrated even the slightest tone. However, the prevailing impression here - both in the compositions representing landscape and figures as in the ones where vegetation is the protagonist - is the one of an inexhaustible energy; similar to the one which rules the universe.

Set upon an ingenuous edge, where nature meets metaphysics, the works of Triga render us in a poetical way familiar with the substantial concept of nature. That is, they suggest to us, the idea of Cosmogony, itself verifying thus, for the sake of the artist the Platonic definition of genuine art; the latter representing an idea and not being one mere copy. It is precisely the idea of nature, of vegetation and of the energy by which they are inhabited which inspires us in a very poetical and eloquent way in the creations of Triga.
